Polytech completed the remodel program for an existing Operating Room. The new room includes space for interventional radiology imaging via a Seimens Zeego camera.

Our design team worked closely with the client to specify the equipment and used Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Revit to coordinate with the structural, mechanical and electrical engineers.

A set of phased construction drawings was developed allowing the surrounding departments to remain functional throughout construction. Existing space constrains resulted in rotating the Zeego 17 degrees to maintain sight lines and accessibility to the patient by all caregivers.
