Polytech Associates provided medical planning and interior design for the Replacement Hospital and full design services for the Central Utility Plant at a major healthcare provider’s Redwood City Medical Center in association with HOK.

Our design team worked closely with the client and end users to integrate CT Scanner and clinical technology areas, Physical Medicine, Inpatient Neuro CCU, Acute Care and Interventional Radiology, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Neurology, and Health Information Management departments into the 280,665 hospital. Polytech is Architect of Record for the 16,000 sf Central Utility Plant which supplies all utilities to the new hospital and houses the Facilities Services Department.

Additionally, our team developed a complete set of phasing plans that will function as a guide, allowed hospital operations to remain intact throughout construction. The new facility was built to LEED Gold standards.
